End of the Year Awards Assemblies I am excited to announce that COVID regulations have relaxed, and we will be able to have our traditional End of the Year Awards for 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Students. This is a change from last year, and families are able to attend!  We will send out more information, including students that will be recognized as we get closer to the dates.

8th Grade Awards will be Wednesday, May 25th at 1pm.
7th Grade Awards will be Thursday, May 26th at 11:35am.
6th Grade Awards will be Thursday, May 26th at 9:15am.

Elote for Sale In honor of Cinco De Mayo We will be having an "Elote en Vaso" (Corn in Cup) "sale" on May 5th for 5 STORM cards during lunch.   Elote en Vaso is a traditional Mexican snack, topped with mayo, lime, cheese and spices.

Pep Assembly We will have our first Pep Assembly in 2 years next Friday, May 13th at 3:15pm during the school day.  I will share more information about the pep assembly next week, including information about pick up - if you do not want your students to attend the pep assembly.  It will be a fun event, so I hope that everyone will be stay, but we will all be together in the gym, 6th, 7th and 8th grade, so I understand that some families might not be comfortable with this.

Career Lunch We have another career lunch this Wednesday, May 4th about Construction and Welding.

Teacher Appreciation Week (Repeat) is next week.  Please help us celebrate our staff.  We have put together a list of requested items to help us celebrate them over the week.  Any help that you could give us is appreciated!  Donations can be dropped off in the front office any time.

Yearbook Don’t forget to order your yearbook! They are $40 and can be ordered online or in the main office. Yearbooks will be delivered on May 20.

Free Rapid COVID Tests Availabe in the main office.  We still have COVID rapid tests available for students/families in the main office.  If your student is in need of COVID testing you can pick up a test kit from the main office during building hours.

Safety and Security

Parking in the Morning  If you are waiting in the car with your student in the morning, please make sure that you park in the parking lot.  Please DO NOT park in the right hand drop off lane.  This lane is for quickly dropping students off at school and then leaving.  When families park in this area versus the parking lot - it causes a slow down for everyone else who is trying to get in and out of the lot more quickly.  Thank you for your attention to this.

8th Grade Students and Parents/Guardians!  High school is coming in a few short months and it will be essential to keep aware of grades and assignments.  We encourage you to log in frequently to IC/Infinite Campus and check your grades and attendance.  For both Students and Guardians, the Infinite Campus App on your phone makes it easier to access IC. If you do not have the Infinite Campus App yet, click the link below and download it now on your phone.
