The following are considered not appropriate for school or school events:

Costumes that are overly graphic, promote violence or otherwise might logically be assumed to be offensive to others

Costumes that are sexually suggestive and would otherwise violate the district’s dress code

Costumes with sound effects, lights or other components which would disrupt the classroom learning environment

Costumes that could be considered insensitive to various races, cultures and religions

Toy or facsimile weapons of any kind (guns, knives, swords, bats, etc.) are not allowed

Costumes or dress of any kind that may be potentially disruptive to the educational or school environment
After School Clubs & Practice Cancelled on Tuesday, Oct. 31st so kids and families can enjoy their Halloween night.
Girls 7th & 8th Grade Basketball Practice this week for 7th Grade is Monday-Wednesday at 7am. 8th grade girls will practice on Monday and Wednesday in the afternoon (no practice on Tuesday) and Thursday morning will be a “walk-through” practice at 7am. Our first games are this week on Thursday evening!
Silver Hills First Basketball Game of the season will be this Thursday, Nov. 2.
8th grade will be Home against Shadow Ridge: B game starts at 5:45 pm
A game starts at 6:45 pm
7th grade will play at Shadow Ridge Middle School. B game starts at 5:45 pm
A game starts at 6:45 pm
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This year those in attendance will be charged admission. Students -$2 or 15 STORM Cards
Adults - $3
You will be able to purchase a punch card as well for $20 (10 games)
We can only accept Cash or Checks
Girls 7th & 8th Grade Basketball Registration it is not too late to join girls basketball if your student is interested in playing, please get your registration in as soon as possible. Forms are available in the main office, and your student does need an updated physical to participate.
Board of Education Meeting The Board will hold a community engagement meeting on Wednesday; November 1, 2022 at Thornton HS at 7pm. The meeting will not be live-streamed and Public Comment is not on the agenda.
This meeting is open to the public, in person attendance.
No School for Staff and Students on Friday, Nov. 11th in honor of Veteran’s Day.
6th Grade Girls Inramural Basketball (Repeat) registration is here! We will be holding intramurals on Fridays from 4-6, starting on Oct. 27. We look forward to having your students participate in a great mix of skill building and intersquad games for our students. Please have your students come to the main office to pick up a registration form from the main office. No physical is needed for your student to participate.
