I was born in Colorado and have lived in Colorado my whole life. I graduated from Colorado State University with my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. Then, I went to Metropolitan State to get my Elementary School Teaching License. After I began teaching, I went back to school for my Master's degree. I graduated from University of Colorado at Denver with my Master of Arts in Linguistically Diverse Education. I have my Elementary Teaching License with an ESL endorsement and my secondary Language Arts endorsement. I have been teaching for 17 years!
